Chevrolet after the its SUV model Chevrolet Captiva has come out with a new age multi utility vehicle Chevrolet Orlando. General motors exhibited the concept Chevrolet Orlando during an auto expo in the year 2008. Later the produced version was unveiled during the year 2010. General Motors have said that Chevrolet Orlando will be available for sale in the Asian, European markets from last quarter of 2011.
Chevrolet Orlando exterior looks:
The exterior looks can be described in one word, ‘Muscular’. From the front side the Chevrolet Orlando sports a regular chrome grille which sports the evergreen and flashy Chevrolet logo similar to that of Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Cruze. In between the fog lights are the black honeycomb mesh and the head lights are bit bolder than Chevrolet Tavera. From the side the Chevrolet Orlando looks like a strong piece of muscle with big tyres complemented by 16 inches alloy wheels. The side view is boxy and kept simple with straight body lines and door colored handles. The rear lights are big and flashy spacious trunk in the inside.

As per the revealed information Chevrolet Orlando has a theater style three row seats which is quite spacious for 7 people to board the car. The dashboard, gear lever and steering wheel details have not been revealed yet. The Chevrolet Orlando lacks the arch like roof which might cramp the head room space of the car. As per the predictions Chevrolet Orlando might have a interior room space as that of Chevrolet Captiva.
Chevrolet Orlando variants: Chevrolet Orlando is expected to be released in two models, one with petrol engine and the other with diesel engine. The petrol engine is expected to be powered with 1.8 L engine which gives out a power of 141 bhp and the 2.0 L diesel engine of Chevrolet Orlando is expected to give 131 bhp.

Chevrolet Orlando might be coming out with a petrol and diesel engine with 1.8 L and 2.0 L capacity respectively. Both the petrol and diesel engines are expected to be complemented with 4, 5 or 6 speed auto transmission.
