Through 2002 to 2007, the Honda Pilot was chosen by the ‘Car and Driver’ magazine as the best large SUV. It is not as edgy to handle or as unpredictable as a truck – it’s a large SUV, smooth to handle and crisp. In 2008, it’s available in two trims – Value Package and Special Edition. It has 2WD versions and the VTM-4 four wheel drive system – when accelerating or when any wheel slippage might be detected, power is delivered to all four wheels. As 2WD, fuel economy is remarkable.
