2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
The best selling SUV in the United States during the month of January, the 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer is a force to be reckoned with, offering the best truck platform mid-size utility vehicle functions such as heavy load hauling and rugged terrain driving. While it’s hardy, it’s also comfortable, stylish and smooth. The 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer offers its base engine as a 285-hp, 4.2 litre inline-6 Vortec 4200 and the TrailBlazer SS has the LS2 6.0 litre V8 engine from GM, which is 390-hp. The standard is four-speed automatic transmission. Adding to that are the heavy hauling capabilities and a towing capacity of up to 6600 pounds with the Vortec 53.litre V8 engine. The 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer has been introduced as a stronger and hardier model of the previous versions.
The Chevrolet brand is known for fuel efficiency and the latest technology used in their Active Fuel Management systems. The system works by switching between eight and four cylinder options, depending on what terrain the vehicle is been driven on.
The 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer also comes with StabiliTrack, which electronically detects lateral skids and adjusts both engine power and brake pressure to retain the driving line. The high acceleration capabilities of the new TrailBlazer require such safety measures, as it’s able to accelerate from 0 to 96 kmph within six seconds, an impressive speed build-up for a heavy truck-platform vehicle.
The luxurious interior provides a comfortable seating capacity for 5 adults. The seats are heated, leather-appointed front bucket seats with 8-way adjusters. XM Satellite Radio is also available in the new Chevy. Anti-lock brakes, stability control, front, side and overhead airbags and anti-theft security systems are all available in this model for safety.

The 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer has a retail price between $26,000 (€16,500) and $35,500 (€22,500).
